Run by someone who's actually held the reins.
Wild-WestWebs was founded in 2005 by Kate Maloney, a designer who learned the trade the hard way — running her own online shop before she ever built one for a client. That first-hand frustration with clunky, hard-to-update sites is exactly what shaped how we work today: clear, fast, and built for people who'd rather be at the barn than fighting with a website dashboard.
We fell into the horse industry early and never left. Over the years we've built sites and graphics for everyone from small-town breeders to some of the biggest names in barrel racing and rodeo — always with the same approach: no cookie-cutter templates, no jargon, just a site that actually looks like your business.
Kate is a barrel racer herself, having competed in jackpots, high stakes races, futurities and rodeo. She also serves as social media manager for a range of incentives, event producers and futurity organizations across the industry. That means when a stallion owner or event producer calls, they're talking to someone who already speaks the language.
